The Thackery came to us with the idea of a high quality bow tie template for their customers.  They were already providing some of the best hardware available to the market and now they wanted to provide a pattern template since there were none on the market.  We chose to use a 1/4″ acrylic to convey the quality of the product and to give it more structure since some of the pieces are long.  QuiltRuler.com did all of the design work for the templates based on drawings from The Thackery.  One unique feature to these templates is a puzzle piece that is used to join two pieces of the template together.  Two separate lengths are used to create each bow tie, so the puzzle pieces enables you to swap the pieces without needing to store a very large template and also saves on material costs.
